Odeon Wonderful!!!! If you're on your own the bar is the perfect choice to sit and have dinner. The bartenders are full of intriguing stories to tell and I'm sure one of the owners will shake your hand and say hello before the night's over. This place has personality. [28 Sep 2005 10:34:17]

Stay away from the Seafood The service was not great, although better than many places in the area. The tables are very close together with two results: there wasn't much privacy and the elbow and rear-end of the waiter for the table next to us was in the way several times. My dining companion had the gnocchi, and raved that it was quite good. I believe he will be back for a second try, but I will not return. [22 May 2006 14:57:50]

Terrible, terrible service My roommate and I dined at Odeon yesterday. I had been there before and recommended it to her. The service, however, was so awful that I felt compelled to write a review, something I have never done before! First, the people who sat down beside us were seated 10 minutes after us and their food arrived at least 20 minutes before ours did. Second, the host kept bringing the people next to us free perks (free dinner for her son, free dinner drinks for her), which was obnoxious because it was right in our face. Third, our waiter was slow and rude. He spilled water all over my leg without an apology, never once cracked a smile, tried to hurry us, and had spaghetti sauce on his shirt (unprofessional and gross to look at while you're eating).
THE WORST PART OF IT ALL is that when I came home, I realized he had overcharged me. I had asked him to put money on my credit card, which he did, and my friend left his tip (20% on top of tax even after his awful attitude and service) in cash, but he then took it upon himself to add a 20% tip to my credit card purchase - which I did not sign for. I am disgusted with the service at this restautant and would never recommend it to anyone, even though the food is generally good and reasonably priced and the ambience is nice.
