Great Experience.....
I dined at Saveur upon the recommendation of an old friend. The moment we arrived we were seated promptly and delighted in the creative selection so scrumptiously displayed in the menu. My wife and I ordered the Fricassee de Escargot as an appetizer though I believe the dish was spoiled and was graciously accepted for return. As a main entree I enjoyed the Veau ala Saveur and though prepared nicely to the eye, it was overcooked. The misses delighted in the Pheasant Forrestier though to her chagrin was more gamey than expected and perhaps should have enjoyed more time in the oven. The staff was very courteous and prompt and did not complain at all when our dishes were returned. The entire dining room has a warm atmosphere and is certainly condusive to a pleasurable experience.    [09 Nov 2003 18:48:50]
