If you're a political parasite, this is your hangout. This bar can be summed up in a few words. The following questions sums it up: "How many "cool bar/lounges can you possibly find that close to the center of the federal government?" As pleasant as the bar may be, the clientel is the typical DC "stiffneck." If you are a DC power-hungry, backstabbing, arrogant "Biff," then this is your hangout. [30 Oct 2003 00:15:42]

Watch Out I have been there 8-9 times. I went there with 3 friends to watch NCAA playoff game last night.
We requested to the bartender/manager to have a game turned on in one area. He said, "This is a cigar bar. Give me $20. I'll think about it." He did nothing, so we moved to poorer viewing seats. Our server kept pushing us and forgetting our drinks. He made out with one of the girls at the next table and avoided us.
I was a professional Chef. I would be horrified to have 2 employees like that working there. Unless you are willing to grease the bartender and have poor service, avoid it.
The food is price/ value/ relationship is fine, but it is a service business. Where are the owners? If the bartender was one, God help DC. [29 Mar 2008 10:38:31]
