Fresh Affordable Sushi at a Neighborhood Restaurant Sushi Sushi is hands down the best sushi value in Washington DC. The fish is always fresh and the combinations truly delight the palate. This is the 2nd Sushi Sushi location that is following up on years of outstanding sushi served up at their Bethesda location in between Ben & Jerrys and On the Border. The Macomb Street location, just steps from Wisconsin Avenue, is run by its owner who works extremely hard to provide fresh, affordable sushi. Stop in and give it a try and you won't be disappointed. Say hi to the Chef, the onwner, who you'll find behind the counter whenever its open. Outdoor seating has also recently be added for summertime sushi fans. [11 May 2004 15:41:22]

Best Kept Secret in Tenley/Cleveland Park. I am a huge fan of the one in Bethesda, and since moving to DC am so thrilled there's one here too! The fish is pristine, the unagi (eel) splendid, and spider rolls... well, I wake up craving them. On a budget or not, this is THE place for sushi in this area. And it certainly helps the owner is a super nice man! [17 Jul 2005 17:55:20]

I love this place I've been going here for a couple of years - I love it because its quiet, rarely mobbed, you can sit outside in the summers, and of course they have great food - try the Smokey Boat or one of their specialty rolls. The staff makes every effort to give you the best service, which is always excellent. If you're sick of waiting around 45 minutes for a seat at Cactus or 2Amy's, head over to Sushi Sushi - you'll be surprised how good it is. [17 Feb 2007 19:47:02]

Great Eats in Cleveland Park I went to Sushi Sushi for the first time last night with several friends, and I was amazed that I have overlooked this perfect restaurant for so long. The ambiance was great and the food was even better( Cooked or Raw) They know what they are doing. The Smokey Boat is a great starter, and every roll and piece of maki was as fresh as they day it was caught. Highly recommended from a long time restaurant guy. [30 Mar 2007 11:21:34]

awesome sushi I love the sushi there! The fish is always fresh and the service is great. I have been to so many sushi places in town but this one is with the best pricing and quality. One of the few where I see a lot of non-Asian servers so you will not get your ordered taken wrong. [04 Jul 2007 08:23:58]
