I love L'enfant! I live literally a block away from the Adams Morgan main strip and even given all the choices we have, we always go to L'enfant. Especially now that the warm weather has arrived and we can enjoy the outdoor seating area. The owners are always there sitting with the guests and are quite attentive. Service is great despite the crowds. Try the sausage and cheese platter with some fine red wine! [21 Apr 2004 10:14:26]

Better than most Parisian cafes! The ambiance is fantastic - especially during the week when it's not overflowing with clientele. Service is typically impeccable, attentive. The food is lovingly and beautifully prepared with a wide variety of choices from the Salade Nicoise to the French Dip sandwich and the crepes both salees and sucrees. The wine list is well designed and the beers are grand as well. The place is well maintained by the everpresent owners who watch everything quietly as they sip their wine... just like the rest of us. I've been visiting/living in Paris for greater than 10 years. This place is so very much better than most French cafes! [16 Nov 2004 18:06:31]
