Poor service will keep me away
Dropped in on a Friday near 6:00, looked like an interesting restaurant. No crowds, plenty of open tables. Quite happy so far. Forget it--was seated at a conspicuous table, and never saw another employee come near us for at least 15 minutes. Oh, they looked at us, then went back to shooting the breeze with their friends that were seated in the bar area. Left without even a taste of the water and went to the Harrington House accross the street. EXCELLENT food/service/prices.    [01 Jul 2003 17:14:23]

Food for each diner not brought at same time-in fact one was served 15 min. after everyone else. Waitress was rude when questioned about the late order, and she never checked back to see that we received it and if we needed anything else (serving utensils for fajitas weren't given and no extra plate for sharing-which we paid extra for, no refills for drinks were offered).    [14 Apr 2005 19:19:34]

WORST SERVICE - EVER!!!!
Seated 13 people at 7:30pm. Received food at 9:30pm. Terrible waitress - manager very poor attitude and extremely rude. NEVER will eat there again - EVER.    [12 Jul 2005 08:21:27]

Guess these are just old reviews. We love this restaurant. Super clean, excellent food and USUALLY decent service. Always plan a stop on our way North to visit family and friends and stop AGAIN on the way back!    [13 Sep 2007 15:33:31]

Excellent Small Town Restaurant
This restaurant and staff was first rate. Service was fast and very friendly. The ambience was very cool. Both dining rooms have trains running and the ice cream parlor has a beautiful mural in it to make you want to stay and enjoy a treat. Wow! I love this place.
I had my wife and daughter there about a year ago, as we traveled to Philly from VA Beach, and all was wonderful. The trains were running around the perimeter of the ceiling and the food was great. Hot and quick. Get dessert!    [11 Jun 2009 11:39:34]
