Their Subs Are Super (sorry the pun)
Capriotti's has some of the best turkey subs around (That is if you like real turkey. They use turkey meat and not some sort of processed turkey roll). For a carbohydrate stuffed treat I recommend their “Bobby” sub (this sub is Thanksgiving on a roll. Turkey – Cranberry – and Bread Stuffing all on a sub roll). I asked my vegetarian friends to rate the veggie-turkey sub and they said that they were very good (one guy thought they were too salty but still very good). Their non-turkey subs are average nothing to write home about unless you are looking at quantity (packed full of meat, not just toppings), don’t get me wrong, they are all quite tasty just nothing too special.

Now as far as sizes go:
Small – Good meal for average person
Medium – Good meal for Ox Sized person or two average people
Large – Good meal for 2 Ox Sized people or four average people

Now they might call them medium large and jumbo or something similar, but you will be able to figure that out by looking at menu.    [03 Apr 2000 12:12:31]

Very good food.
This is one of the few places left around that you can still get a great sub. Even though there are quite a few stores now, there is the same quality that has always been there. Gone are the days of DiCostanza's, and Casapulla's, but Capriotti's is still here!    [17 Apr 2001 09:12:59]

Not all Capriotti's are the same. I have gotten them from several and my husband, brother and I think the Basin Road store in New Castle makes the best subs. Also the help is more friendly there and make a great sandwich fast. Just had to let you know.    [04 Jan 2002 22:39:31]

Out of town!
I love Cap's subs! I look forward to having one every time I come home to Delaware - when are you gonna open one (or let me open one) in Atlanta - there are NO good sub shops here!!!    [20 May 2002 16:54:06]

Turkey Sub
I used to drive a milk truck in Wilmington Delaware in 1977 or so. I live in Long Beach California now. I have yet to eat a turkey sub baked fresh every day anywhere. Capriotti's Turkey sub is addictive and world class. I don't know if they still make it but if they do ya gotta try one.    [01 Mar 2003 21:14:06]

Not all locations the same
That couldn't be more true.
The West Chester location rules this roost. From the staff, to their skills, THIS Capriotti's Rocks.

I could have The Bobby every day, it's so good.

But if you are gonna try, be sure to get into West Chester.    [31 Mar 2003 14:34:45]

I too am originally from Delaware and can't get a good sub since I moved to the DC/Baltimore area. My family gets a Capriotti's Sub everytime we go home at the shop in Long Neck, De. The sandwiches and services are the BEST!!    [20 May 2003 11:27:55]

I have lived in Delaware my whole life and recently moved to North Carolina. Let me tell you, "subs" down here are NOTHING like Capriotti's.    [20 Jun 2003 14:27:17]

The Bobbie
I had one of your Bobbie's and it ws delicious. Someone that I work with lives in DE, and she got one for me. It was soooo good. I live in Philadelphia PA, if you open up a shop here I know your Bobbie sandwich would do real good here, and I'm sure whatever else you would make would also do good. Please consider coming to Philadelphia PA.    [01 Jul 2003 09:48:53]

The 'Upper Crust' of Sub Shops
Though I've never visted the location, at work whenever we have an event or lunch people shout "CAPRIOTTI'S!". I'm not a big fan of lunchmeats, but I did have the turkey and cheese and I can tell you it was real turkey! Not that processed meat that comes in rectangles, but true turkey with fresh american cheese. It never fails every time we order too. Consistently top quality subs are not easy to come by. 'Congratulations' and 'thank you' to Capriotti's.    [09 Apr 2004 09:12:08]
