We loved it!!!
I stopped by Flakowitz for an early lunch over the weekend. The line was out the door. Do not be fooled by the long line, they do not have a large waiting area inside and the line moves rather quickly. My wife is handicapped and the greeter inside was very gracious with her needs. The atmosphere reminds me of the local 5 & 10 I used to go to when I was growing up. The restaurant has a vintage NY theme, which was very nice. They have really good lunch specials, so my wife and I had it. The owner stopped by our table to see if my wife needed anything. I thought that was very nice of him. I was joking with him, calling him Mr. Flakowitz. After we ate, he actually sent someone over to help my wife. Overall, the food was very good, our waitress was ok (she was very busy) and my wife and I will defintately come back again, next time with some friends.

What a great place to eat. Big bang for your buck. The three eggs omelette was more like 5 eggs. With the New Yorkers leaving, now you do not have to wait on line.    [20 Apr 2008 00:50:10]
