2 Georges Must Have Slipped. Read the other reviews and it doesn't even sound like the same restaurant! We were just there last weekend and found the drinks and service to be inconsistent. Even 2 out of the 4 meals served were not good, fish and chips just greasy and awful, and Beef and Reef, steak OK, shrimp way overcooked and tough. Even the onion rings served were the frozen kind you get at the supermarket. For $40 p/p without tip, go someplace else. Cannot recommend. [19 Jul 2005 11:30:43]

Three Strikes for Two Georges, they're Out! I travel to Florida 1-2 times per month on business and Two Georges is not far from our Boynton Beach offices. I think the locals that suggested Two Georges as having good food are thinking of some distant past and remembering some fondly associated memory as it sure is mediocre now.
Food: Lousy, overcooked, over or under spiced - yeecch. I saved a piece of my fish pieces from the fried Fish&Chips platter to take back to the office to make a point. It survived three 10-15 chips with a sand wedge intact, only when I took a full swing with my 5 iron did it break into (three) pieces.
Tuesday night (my third and final visit!!) with coworkers I had their 'featured special' broiled Wahoo, a reportedly white, light Grouper like textured fish according to the waitress. I was served a solid grey overcooked piece of fish that cut like shoe leather. I bet the bake potato accompanying it would have survived or damaged my 5 iron. This had to have been sitting under a heating lamp before we arrived.
Location: Fabulous Service: Good Decor, Cleanliness: Keep your sunglasses on; Two Georges has seen better days.
Nope, I won't go back. The Banana Boat right next door has been renovated and I've enjoyed my one dinner there. Yes, that's a hint! [11 Jun 2006 18:14:57]

bad news The restaurant its self is dirty and smells of rotton fish. The manager on duty was extremely rude and our server was very snotty. The food was edible, but way over priced for its quality. I will not reccomend this restaurant to anyone. Drinks are not bad, but again, a little to over priced. a 14 o.z. beer in a plastic cup in 98 degree weather? The restaurant doesnt stand up to "pouring the coldest beer in town". [03 Oct 2006 22:04:17]

Average Quality, Poor Service I have been here 3 times over the past year.
The first time was very nice. Food and service were good.
The second time was not good. Food just ok and service poor.
I went a third time to see if the 2nd time was a fluke. It was not. The 3rd (and last) visit to Two Georges was horrible. The food continued to be just ok, but the service was the worst I ever experienced. I had to get up and look for our waitress twice to get service. She was very irritated that I took her from her BS session with a waiter. I am ALWAYS a generous tipper. This time I asked for my change back and left ZERO tip. [27 Sep 2007 10:39:04]

Two Georges is great. Always a great time. We sit right on the water and get crab cakes every time...you can get them broiled or fried. We usually get both and share. They are still extremely great! [15 Oct 2007 09:48:23]
