Moved and even better!
This place is now located at the Southeast strip mall of the corner of Lockwood and University (in the plaza with the dollar theater and Kash N Karry Grocery Store).

New British owners, and the food just keeps getting better!! I swear those are the best (and meatiest) chicken wings I've ever had (I usually order around 30 elsewhere but here I can only order 10 because they are so big). The Bangers and beans...to die for, they use those delicious sausages they import. Also, this place used to be a pizza shop and it's crazy but they make really great pizzas as well!! Of course the fish n chips are incredible (huge pieces) and other UK items are good too (scotch egg, etc).

Beerwise they've got all kinds of imports, and I think like 18 beers on draft (or drought I suppose). They pour imperial pints, and the atmosphere is always casual and friendly, like most pubs in Britain.

A down note, they only offer beer and wine, but then again it keeps the atmosphere more family friendly.

They offer a fantastic Full English Breakfast all day long. I'm going to stop now because I'm starting to sound like a commercial. The owners are always wanting to know your input on the food. I know a lot of British people who come to this pub because I frequent it so much. It's really good!    [11 Feb 2008 15:17:53]
