A Real Rrestaurant in Brandon The first time we ate there I couldn't wait to get back in the car to call my out-of-state sister and tell her that we now had a real restaurant in Brandon. Those of you who like fine dining and nice atmospheres know exactly what I mean. No more chain restaurants. This place has atmosphere and great food. I recommend it to everyone I know. My wife and I visited Della's on our vacation to Florida to visit our daughter. She had only heard about Della''s and not visited. We were extremely, pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the dishes on offer. We so thoroughly enjoyed our meal that I have been recommending Della's to our friends who are visiting Tampa in October. [29 Sep 2003 10:59:00]

Brandon's best kept secret Della's transforms into a quaint dining room after dark. The live jazz and the soft candlelight makes this a great choice for dinner. [03 Feb 2004 14:10:28]

Servers from one of the local chains recommended Della's and we're so glad they did. We have been here a short time, were getting tired of the restaurants and just felt like we discovered gold after dining at Della's. The temperature of the restaurant was the only negative we felt. We were seated next to the kitchen. The next time we'll request reservations under the fans and there will be many next times. After two appetizers, two entrees and two desserts, we determined the food as excellent. [21 Aug 2005 07:36:52]

Elegant and Delicious! This is a jewel of a small restaurant. We were in a party of sixteen people, yet we each received individual attention from the waiter and staff. The food is not only delicious, it's beautifully arranged. Great ambiance and tastefully decorated. This is as elegant as Bern's Steakhouse in Tampa, yet on an intimate scale. Having lived in Dallas and San Francisco, I can say this is the first time I've experienced any restaurant that matches those two areas. [16 Dec 2006 22:07:48]

Food & ambience great, service BAD! We arrived at 8:30PM per our reservation maitre d' was not on station. We were seated by a very nice waiter, who unfortunately would not be our server. Our actual server, Tiffany was crude, calling us "virgins to Della's restaurant", because it was our first time dining there. Her service was atrocious. She disappeared for long stretches at a time and between ordering and getting our food, we waited nearly an hour! We even gave up on what probably would have been a delightful dessert because we were afraid we'd have to what another hour to get it. The food was delicious, when it finally arrived, although my Stuffed Tenderloin had cooled slightly, no doubt due to our terrible waitress. My wife's Sirloin meal was very good & she commented how fresh the asparagus was.
There was a live jazz trio led by a woman who sang & played multiple instruments. It was very nice, although it was difficult to carry on a quiet conversation in such a small setting. Minus our server Tiffany, we had a very nice meal and an overall good time. [27 Aug 2008 09:05:42]

Best Meal in Tampa I found this place from a review in 2006 and liked it so much I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here. I have been coming here now since 2006 and always enjoyed great meals. When my family from NYC comes in town we always try to come here as they also think this is as good as what they have home. I will bring my wife here for Valentine 2009 because I know its the best.
