Description
The Bubble Room is a delicious holiday from the ordinary. The decor is unlike anything you have experienced - unless you normally dine where Christmas, nostalgia, antique shops and Hollywood are all rolled into one.
This American-cuisine restaurant is composed of eye-catching memorabilia from the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's. Toy trains, twinkling colored lights and more than 2,000 movie stills and glossies of stage and screen legends greet customers.

Nice atmosphere, pricey, hostess rude I went to the Bubble Room Sunday, 5/2. We had a large party (6 adults and 2 babies). While waiting for a table, I asked the hostess if she had any crackers. She looked at me as though I was irritating her and rolled her eyes while she said no. (Mind you, this is a family restaurant.) Anyway, our name was called while most of our party was in their gift shop. My husband and I came to the hostess stand loaded down with everyones things that they had left at the table, and the hostess refused to seat us because our entire party wasn't present! Our waitress was very nice, and the food was good but expensive (average entree is $24). Would NOT recommend the cheese on fire dish. [23 May 2004 16:20:37]

A must for Sanibel and Captiva goers My family and I have been going to Captiva Island every summer since I was three (I'm 19 right now), and the Bubble Room is always on our list of places to stop. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is relatively good, but I would recommend going for lunch as the prices can be steep for dinner. The portions are very large though, so the price isn't as bad. Also, make sure to order dessert and take it home! The cake slices are very, very large and my family of four always takes four pieces back to our condo and splits each one four ways so we all have some of each other's, and there's plenty for it. I Loved It! I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It was so much fun to have all this enthusiasm, but beware, it will take a toll on the wallet, but it is definately worth it. The food is to die for! There are many alterrnatives to sea food and the kids will love it! [09 Sep 2006 13:31:45]
