Yum Yum!
I went to florida for the disney thing and ended up gong to celebration almost every night for tea and eating at the market street cafe! I can recommend the cookies and cream milkshake! It is brill! If anyone knows the recipe for it then please send it to me!    [01 Sep 2006 11:23:09]

What Happened?
I have been going to the Market Street Cafe for a few years now and have taken many guests with me. However the last time I was there something changed. I ordered the Corned Beef sandwich and was really surprised. It is not the meal that I have been accostomed to at this restraaunt. The portion was small and the corned beef was grissly. I was told that this is the result of owners thinking that the portions were too large. So I hope that the last meal I had will serve you well as I do not plan to return. Breakfast was a super good --- crab and swiss omelet accompanied by properly prepared breakfast potatoes.

NOT as good as it used to be

Market Street Cafe has FAILED their HEALTH inspection
I wouldn't eat at this restaurant if i were you.

Precooked chicken breast and bacon, cooked early in the morning, but served till restaurant closes. Beef and fish cooked on same flat iron.
Ever look down at the floors, or up at the ceiling? Do yourself a favor, DON"T!!! Mildew everywhere from lack of proper cleaning. Also this restaurant has the most dirty mens room I've seen in a restaurant. As an employee I wouldn't even use the restroom.
As a favor if you do eat at Market Street Cafe. I would only eat fried items. Its the only guarantee your food will be good properly and will have no food born illnesses. Good luck Market Street guests.    [28 Jul 2007 20:05:48]
