TIO PEPE'S - What a place!
I have always loved this restaurant. They have the best sangria I have ever had! They DO need a bigger restaurant. It can get a bit close in there on a busy night, which is often. I love their Paella the most! Service is excellent, the ambiance is so typically Spanish. If you are looking for Cuban food, this is not the place to go. Overcooked!
How can a Spanish restaurant overcook rice, come to Tio Pepe to find out. After waiting for one hour for the main course, I guess is takes time to overcook the food, my wife received the wrong meal and mine was not edible.    [16 Nov 2005 20:23:28]

Once Great, Now Aweful!
Tio Pepe's is trading on it's past reputation. We had been away for years and looked forward to tonight. What a disappointment! The pork chop was totally uncooked inside. I don't mean under done or rare, I mean still room temperature and smelled horrible!

The waiter was embarrassed but the manager just asked if I wanted something else. I had totally lost my appetite, just asked him to take it off the bill, and we got out of there quick.

Their service was poor.

Death of a Great Restaurant

it just sucks
that place used to be good and now it has turned in to a dump! we used to love eating there and last couple of times we have been there the food was awefull and so was the service! my server had a attitude problem and got nasty with me when i complained! ..i was totally disappointed now we had to find another place to spend our special occasions    [30 Apr 2007 23:06:34]
