Description

Local fresh seafood (pompano, cobia, wahoo, etc.),steaks, pasta, house-made desserts (creme brulee, key lime pie), wine list, local ales on tap, hand written menus, cool, artsy, "South Beach feel". Fine dining in a casual beachside atmosphere, very reasonably priced.

BEST FRESH SEAFOOD ON THE BEACH!
I recently ate at The Fat Snook with a few of my friends, and I can honestly say that it is probably the best restaurant I have eaten at since I have lived in Cocoa Beach.

The first impression is amazing; the artsy decor is the first thing you notice when you walk in, and it sets the tone for the evening.

The server was very knowledgeable and she informed us that all the seafood at The Fat Snook is locally caught and never frozen, and the taste backed it up. I had the Catch 1 which was the Pompano. It was done very simply- baked with fresh dill, butter, and a squeeze of lemon.
The presentation was really cool too. My husband enjoyed the cedar planked salmon, which was actually served on a cedar plank!

I would recommend this place to everyone! Best food, service and prices in town!    [14 Sep 2007 12:28:48]
