Wonderful What a pleasant surprise! I figured there was only all-you-can-eat Chinese, Italian, or barbecue in Citrus county. Walking in is like walking into a trendy Las Olas or Tampa restaurant without the attitude. The staff was very friendly and acknowledged us even though they were busy. The food had me dancing in my chair! The price was really small-town compared to what you would pay in the big city! [24 Aug 2007 15:33:20]

Cold, Slow service The service was slow. The servers and owners seemed like they were hiding in the back. We will not go back. Way overpriced. [25 Apr 2007 22:28:01]

Class by the Glass or Bottle Rod and Company certainly know how to please. The menu selection is fabulous and the wines available are recommended and sampled by the staff. Boutique wineries as well as well knowns on the wine shop shelves. Excellent cellar selections. My wife and I will always consider W&CCo. as a favorite. [09 Nov 2006 14:48:12]

Give it a try Living in California in the Sonoma wine valley, it's nice to a taste of home in Florida. Staff was great and food was very good. We visit every year for the holidays. [19 Oct 2006 11:57:51]

Really Good I moved to Citrus County after living in the big city (Miami). When I crave great big city food I used to have to road trip for the experience. I have eaten there several times and the food is comparable if not better than anything I have had elsewhere. It is a relaxed place too! You can go in shorts and order roasted duck, all without someone in a power suit screaming how important they are into their cellphone behind you.
Their sesame tuna is a consistently excellent meal, but I eventually want to try everything. They have menus that change daily. Just go and try it... Can you tell I really like the place? [05 Aug 2006 10:39:04]

great great!!!!! I was reading the reviews before I wrote this, and I have eaten there many of times. The food I feel is well priced and the portions I think are too much; can't finish it; and if you do, you are to full to leave. The Service is impeccable, with very experienced servers. A great little bistro for that side of Florida! [02 Mar 2006 23:10:29]

Disappointing. My husband and I traveled from Tampa to Crystal River to eat at the Crystal River Wine and Cheese Company and hear live Flamenco Guitar. First the food was over priced for the portions you receive. It was also way too salty and spiced. The service was slow and we were ignored and our glasses were left empty. We had heard there is a Flamenco Guitarist that plays there on Thursday night (The main reason we went there). He was also not there and no one seemed to know how to contact him to find out where he is now. My recommendation for those who live in the Tampa area would be to dine in Tampa, the food is better and cheaper. [06 Jun 2005 13:27:18]

Rack of Lamb My wife and I stopped in there through word of mouth and I must say I had the best rack of lamb I ever had. My wife was equally satisfied. The band on Saturdays plays some tough jazz. An all round enjoyable experience. [07 Oct 2004 20:23:07]
