Roll up your sleaves. This is Bar-B-Que I am a big fan of Fat Boys going on 8 years. I moved from the midwest, so dry bar b que was new to me. It is not fancy. It is not a chain. It is just plain wonderful. I like to get the rib and chicken all U can eat because Who wants to choose, or quit? The sides are just to break the momentum. Enjoy. [13 Nov 2006 00:24:22]

Not what we had in mind We were there 1/24/07, and were not impressed; should have gone with our "gut instinct".
The ribs are done as a dry BBQ, which was not what we were looking for (not their fault!). Our service was like the salad bar, mediocre at best. We had to wait for our drinks, wait to have our order taken, and wait for the food. No plates were removed from our table at any time. And we had to wait and wait for our check. They were not that busy, and it was very loud. We would not go again. [01 Feb 2007 11:44:57]

Worth a try I have been driving by here for years and finally decided to give it a try. I had the (AYCE) ribs which were dry rubbed. This is not the style I am used to but they were quite good. The meal comes with a choice of sides and I had the beans and a baked potato. Nice to have something besides fried to choose from.
The server was prompt and efficient. She made sure that I had all the iced tea that I could drink and offered a second round of ribs as soon as the first batch was gone.
The place was clean and since this is not "fine dining" that's all I need to be happy. I will be back again to try another of their specials. [10 Apr 2009 19:01:24]

Not so good First and last time we will ever go to this place! Although the sliced pork and french fries were good and service was good -- everything else was not. The tossed salad had big pieces you had to cut up to eat them. The baked potato and fried chicken were dry. Potato Salad - bland. Baked Beans and 2 BBQ sauces - just OK. The salad bar is a joke - very sparse. When you eat at the other barbecue places down Rt. 19 as regulars, like we do - you realize had bad this place is.
The decor is depressing here - needs serious updating. The dirty carpet should be ripped up. And those awful, uncomfortable picnic tables with ripped up padding for the seats, should be replaced while they are at it. The table tops were clean, but that was about it. We won't go back.
