Description

Vintage on 5th restaurant is located one block from Citrus Ave., west of US 19, where the former Cypress Room was located. This restaurant is owned and operated by the owners of the Crystal River Wine and Cheese Company.

They are located in a 1940's cracker-style renovated church. They offer over 25 wines by the glass, and have a wine list for those who prefer to order a bottle.

They offer seafood, including shrimp and grits, as well as Angus hand-cut steaks, bone-in veal chops and Colorado lamb. Dessert specialties include home-made Creme Brulee Napoleon with Buttered Almonds and Maria's Key Lime Pie.

I love the Wine and Cheese Co. that the owners have had in the area for a few years and the atmosphere, service, food and wine are just as good and then some!    [17 Mar 2008 19:31:35]
