Description

Upscale, fine dining restaurant, located in the Daytona Beach Marina district. Offers a nice view of the Halifax River while dining. Features a wide variety of seafood, steaks, chops, chicken and pasta. Extensive wine selection available.

Good Food and View, for a Price
Arriving without reservations, I found I had to wait to be seated. Fortunately, the wait was short and I found myself seated at a table with a great view of the river, with a romantic viewscape of various yachts, open water, and a tree-lined background.

The waitstaff was friendly and helpful with the unfamiliar menu. I chose a white wine sampler, which features 2 oz. of four different wines. For the meal, I selected the Southwest Chicken dish, with a gazpacho tomato soup for the appetizer. The food was delightfully seasoned and well prepared.

The bill came to approximately $36, plus tip. A bit more than I am used to spending, but I recommend the Chart House for a special occasion or romantic dining experience for two.    [06 Jul 2001 03:40:57]

Awesome Dessert
Lava Cake. That's all I can say. It is the best dessert you will ever eat in yur life. I am not a big fan of chocolate, but when I tried this simple but delicous dessert, I fell in love. I have gone to The Chart House just to get Lava Cake.    [31 Jan 2004 22:00:51]
