Awesome Food & Gulf View!
Tucked into the first floor of The Inn at Crystal Beach is the beautiful, award-winning Beach Walk Cafe restaurant. The chef is a Louisiana native and makes great Louisiana dishes and more. During the day, the atmosphere is bright and sunny with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico! In the evening, it has a warm resort restaurant feel to it and can be very romantic with the right person. [11 May 2004 18:34:03]

Terrible; Just Terrible!
I spend several weeks a year in Destin and this was the first time that I have eaten at Beachwalk. Having heard great things about it, we gave it a try.
1) Bad Service - not up to the prices that they charge
2) Tough Steaks - supposed to be "Prime" but I doubt it
3) Cheap Glasses and Flatware

Wonderful Wedding
We had our wedding and reception here & it was truely wonderful. The staff is excellent and extremely helpful. The food was great, especially the grouper!! We will come back just for that!! [28 Apr 2006 17:47:19]

I tend to be very picky and critical about places I've eaten or shopped. Let me just say, that I am so impressed with the service, the room we used and the atmosphere that I wanted to let everyone know. Everything had to be planned from out of town for my son's wedding (on the beach) and Beach Walk Cafe handled the reception as professionals. Our server was one of the best we've ever had, she took care of every detail, even helped with the cake cutting. The food was outstanding, although the spice for the fish was not to everyone's taste; the actual fish and chicken were both prepared wonderfully.
