Real BBQ
It's not located in a prime spot, there aren't any waitresses or even an indoor dining area; but what they do have is the absolute best BBQ, bar none! I DRIVE FROM NORTH FLORIDA
I grew up in Mt Dora and Kings has always been a family favorite. Now that I live in N. Florida, I stop by Kings on my way out of Eustis and take a couple slabs of ribs with me.

I've been frequenting King's BBQ since I was 14 years old. (1958). Mr. Thomas would gather the wood throughout Lake County to fix his BBQ. You won't find any better. I have fond memories of him and this place.    [13 Dec 2006 13:55:07]

Aint Even A Contest!!!!
I was born in Lake County, FL in 1955. I can still remember the first time I had King's Taste! It is the best BBQ in the WORLD...Bar NONE!!! The ribs and chicken are to die for. When I am done with the meat, the bread is like dessert.

Don't expect the Taj Mahal, this aint no fancy restaurant. Just park, walkup to the window and get the best BBQ you will ever eat. Go to one of the many great local parks, sit down at one of the many picnic tables and enjoy the best food to ever pass over you lips. There's nothing else like it...
I grew up in Tavares, eating King's ribs and chicken. I have been in CT for 26 years and still have family in the area. Which always send Kings BBQ sauce in Bday and Xmas packages every year. We in the north cant live without it!    [31 May 2007 16:52:45]

King's Taste BBQ Sauce is
I first bought Kings Taste BBQ Sauce about 20 years ago from a family who sold citrus in New Brunswick, NJ every winter.

Kings Taste was the best BBQ sauce I ever tried. I even started buying a case at a time. I moved to Fla in 2000 and even drove the 3 hrs from my house, to Eustis to buy a case and the store was closed on Mondays. Noooooooooooooooo!!!

Can anyone tell me where I can get the bbq sauce in Sarasota County?.......Or will they let me buy a case from their place in Eustis by mail?
