Never to Come Back
We went to the Sand dollar restaurant to enjoy a nice meal on the water, but we only got to enjoy the view of the water! The decor looke very nice, but deceiving. We walked has to wait to be seated for 10 to 15 minutes at 1 o'clock. As we were seated our waitress never came to the table until 10 minutes later! We ordered an appetizer of calamari, which was awful it was too chewy. Then we ordered our lunch at about 1:15 and we waited for it until 2:15! and it still hadn't come out yet! Our waitress never came to the table to fill up drinks and her appearance was Sweaty and dirty (she has a tattoo on her hand). I would never come back to this place!    [24 Mar 2001 17:49:21]

Sunday Brunch
We stopped in around September 9th. The brunch was wonderful. In addition to the normal breakfast items, they had shrimp, roast beef, a seafood/rice dish, twice baked potatoes, fruit salad, and a green salad. If you had any room left they also offered dessert. Our server was very friendly.

Go Somewhere Else
I grew up on Ft George Island. I've ate at the Sandollar many times. Years ago, the food was very good. Since the new owner it's terrible. The service is very slow and the food is unappetizing. Try Singleton's Seafood across the ferry. It's much better!    [29 May 2003 14:41:07]

Great Food.

Good Food, Good Service.
