Full Rack of Lamb, To Die For.
I suggest the rack of Australian Lamb, sometimes this item is not on the menu. If it is, it states "For Two" I order this dish for one, and I am 5'3 120 lbs and female. Just can't help sucking on the bones! I drive two hours across Florida once a month for this dish.    [21 Apr 2005 14:04:26]

Will never go back
The reservation system they have in place is a joke. Vinnie, the maitre d' only seats his friends, and then an occasional group which has a reservation. Does not make a difference how long you have been waiting, if one of Vinnie's friends show up they are seated first and you must wait. Don't plan to go unless you are freind of Vinnie's or you don't mind waiting until after his friends have finished arriving and having dinner. On the weekends, with reservations you will not be seated sooner then 10 to 10:30.

The wait staff service is OK, not bad, but not great. The food is good, but hardly worth any wait. Too many better restaurants, which do not play games, you can choose from in Ft. Lauderdale. The atmosphere is vintage airline tacky. Dinning room is small.

Is this a toned down Bada Bings?
I've been to this place 3 times because the food is really awesome. The Mussels are excellent, and I highly recommend the Yellow Tail Oregano. Reservations? forget about it! Unless your nose is slightly bent, you'll be cast aside when the "wise guy's" show up. I wonder if the Feds know where this place is? Last Thursday will be the LAST time I wait over an hour for my reserved seating, regardless of how much I loved the food.    [30 Apr 2006 10:46:20]

A joke of a place
Unless you tip heavy when walking in the door don't expect the wannabe Maitre d' to seat you anytime soon. He is a joke and the owner lets him get away with this. 10:30 Sat eve off season called before trip, during drive there and arrived to be told 1 minute. Left at 11:20 after constant BS from this LITTLE CAESAR JOKE OF A MAN!

Here's the deal
Been to Anthony's several times and is always the same thing with the seating. I take it in stride though, just have a few drinks and 2 hrs later badda bing! If you see a review in here with perfect scores, is because they are Vinny's friends and can can get a seat as soon as they get there. The only options you have (if you don't know Vinny) is to have a few drinks and relax or just go somewhere else. The food: better than average. The service: professional, but very snotty (it's as if they're doing it for free). The reservation system: what reservation system?? Are you kidding? Great Food, Reservations Not Honored
I had been there before my recent trip and had a great experience. Great food, great service and seated immediately. This time we waited and hour for a table even though it wasn't busy and there were open tables in the bar. Food was great, service a little slow and unattentive until we struck up a great rapport with our waiter. Then everything was great. Give it a try.    [27 Jan 2008 18:24:41]
