Someone recommended Anthony's to us and we decided to go on our last night in town. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our vacation. The food was delicious and plenty of it! Anthony's is the best

OK, so I have been here numerous times. Can I please say that I fall even more in love with it every time. Words cannot describe how Vinnie and Anthony make you feel right at home. Not a friendly place

We wouldn't know if it was any good.......
It would be a little easier to review this restaurant if we were actually seated and able to eat. We were a party of 10 with an 8:30 reservation who was still standing in the hall at 9:45 waiting to be seated. On our three attempts to find out the situation, we were all but ignored. The restaurant sat a party of 10 who had a 9:30 reservation prior to seating us with no explanation to us except....sorry! I suggest if you are looking for a restaurant to honor a reservation, look elsewhere, because this is not the place. They not only ruined our evening, but they will never have one of the 10 people in our party patronize their restaurant ever. Best NY Strip Steak I ever had in my life!

don't waste your time
A group of four of us had a local friend who dines here often (even knows the owner) make a reservation for us at 7. We arrived at 6:55 and were informed to have a seat in the lounge and enjoy a cocktail. The bar was smoky so we chose to stay outside on the patio while we waited. We tried several times to get an update on our table and were either ignored, told "your table will be ready in half a minute", or we are waiting for your table to pay their check. Several groups were seated prior to us. At 8:10 over an hour later we were told out table was available. It was in the bar that was too smoky for us even to have a drink in let a lone eat dinner. We walked out and went to another restaurant. Needless to say our friend who made the reservation was calling his friend (the owner) the next day. Extremely rude, unless you are a local or dine here often (i.e. know the host) your reservation is worthless.    [31 Mar 2003 11:28:55]
