This place is awesome.
The owner/operator of this place has been dubbed by locals as "The Spice Nazi".

The food here is tremendous and very well priced. That is, as long as you don't order off the "menu". The menu is for people who aren't in the know.

To this day I still don't know what all you CAN order - but if you ask for a Spicy Beef Combo (not on menu) you won't be dissapointed.

The ambiance is non-existant as it is meant to be a carry out establishment. The counter man can be scary. But oh man is the food good. If you're in Gainesville you definately need to check this place out.    [03 Dec 2003 13:53:45]

IT'S AN ADDICTION...
After I finished school at UF I moved to NYC. I still have harsh cravings for Caribbean Spice. There is no replacemnet for the veggie and cheese combo with the coco bread.

As much as i try to avoid chain restaurants a small part of me wishes that there could be a partner store in New York.

Fast, cheap, without the yuck of fast food. Also don't miss out on the funny posters.
