Delicious! The Quesalada is delicious!!! I always get that when I go, but i went on Sunday when they only serve breakfast, and got the peach muffin. That was absolutley delicious as well. Everything there is so good! The only thing is that the service is sometimes slow, but it is worth the wait. [05 Sep 2002 17:31:15]

awesome clam appetizer/meal The clams ... try the clam appetizer. A bucket of succulent Cedar Key clams served with toasted French bread in what repeated attempts at analysis indicate must be white wine, garlic, black pepper, and maybe butter with unknown herbs (perhaps parsley). My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Service was flawed, but management was more than sufficiently accomodating. [23 Feb 2003 16:15:01]

THE ABSOLUTE BOMB Ivey's Grill is the best. The service isn't always snappy and there is often a rather long wait. However, I have braved sub-zero weather in the winter and lost 5 lbs sweating during the summer just waiting for a table so that I may enjoy their delicious food. Never have I been let down. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner - you can't ever go wrong with Ivey's! [01 Apr 2003 18:40:52]

amazingness Every single dish I have tried is perfect... from the quesalada, ensalada, gigantic pancakes, spuds a la grande, and black bean burro, to the chicken sandwich and french toast, Ivey's has become one of my all time favorite restaurants! The food takes a bit of time to come out, but the service is good and the management friendly. Why didn't I find this place sooner? [09 Jul 2003 23:43:21]

Great black bean nachos For breakfast or dinner, they have an excellent variety of yummy, unique foods.
My fave (and I am not even sure if it still on the menu) is the black bean nachos. Delish! [22 Jul 2003 18:53:26]

Must be cooking with a Bunsen Burner As a lover of breakfast, I can easily say that these people don't know how to make eggs. Poached, sure, but if you don't like hollandaise, you're SOL. Scrambled are runny or overdone, and over-light eggs, forget it. These people just do sunny side up, and flip it right onto the plate, seriously. If I wanted a plate of mucus, I would have ordered it. This wasn't just a one-time thing, either. I've attempted the overlight eggs about a half a dozen times, and believe me, this anomaly is repeatable. The potato pancakes, however, rock. The herbed potatoes are good, too. The servers are fun folk. They play some good tunes. They have some crazy abstract art on the walls, which is nice. Oh, and you have to walk through the kitchen to hit the can, which I find a bit unpleasant. [13 Jan 2004 11:21:13]

Some of the items are over priced. Their pancakes and french toast are delicious. Some of the food (eg. bacon) was served a cold. Service is slow. [11 Sep 2005 20:35:47]

Won't return to Ivey's Horrible service this morning, and that's nothing new. While the menu has some creative items, it's not good enough to put up with the lack of service. [17 Dec 2006 12:16:07]

Always a Favorite I've been a fan of Ivey's for almost 15 years. Brunch is my favorite meal. If I don't have the patience to wait (it's worth it!), I'll call in my order for pick-up. The muffins are always a delicious start. My favorites are the Veggie Benedict and the huge potato pancakes with garlic sauce. Unforgettable! [25 Dec 2006 13:33:40]
