Heavenly Pizza !! I tried Napolitan's on a whim years ago and I go there every time I'm in town. I always order their pizza. Almost any combination will satisfy. The crust tastes like fresh baked bread, a rarity in a pizza house. Ask for a side order of sauce because you'll want to eat the slice ends like a breadstick. The pizza sauce itself is delicious, freshly made with who knows what herbs and spices. To die for! Ambient and intimate atmosphere with half the building used as a sports bar and the other half a comfortable dining room. There is a spacious patio in the back if you like eating outside. This place is the best. Definately worth the trip if you're within 100 miles of Gainesville. [16 Sep 2004 17:35:03]

Favorite Restaurant in Gainesville Napolitano's has been a favorite of mine for over 20 years, since it was a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. Now it is a spacious, upscale but still family friendly restaurant that serves excellent pizza and other Italian dishes. We do not live in Gainesville anymore but try to visit this restaurant whenever we are in town. The service is excellent, the owner, Dean, is always on hand to keep everything running smoothly, the food is delicious and the deserts are to die for! Real New York cheesecake! Cannoli! And others, but I never make it past the first two. [20 May 2005 20:57:51]
