Misty River has BEST PRIME RIB
Misty River has the best food no matter what you choose to eat. I personally love the Prime Rib and the baked potato. I go there at least once a week. The prices are excellent for the good food, service and the amount of food you get. If your ever in the Homosassa Area you must try Misty River. They have a big variety of food to choose from. The Salmon is another favorite and I could go on and on about the food but you must try it to taste it yourself. Atmosphere is also a plus! I have NOT come across anything I didn't like yet and I have been eating there for years. I take ALL my company there and they always want to go back again before they leave town or when they come back. [31 Dec 2002 11:56:55]

Misty River Great Crab Cakes - Poor Cleanliness
Most of the food is great here but the tables and chairs need a GOOD cleaning.
Cob webs abound in corners and keeps me from wanting to go there to eat.
We have taken out and that is better.
Salads are sometimes aged with brown edges, but I am very picky about that. [25 Mar 2006 13:24:43]

Has slipped a bit from the first two reviews....
We went to Misty River Easter Sunday on recommendations from a friend. The food was nothing special and the wait staff seemed strained serving our party of nine.
My wife had the prime rib and I had the fried seafood platter. There was enough on my plate to feed two people and all the ingredients were prepared the way I like them. My wife enjoyed the beef and there were no complaints from her.
However the others in our group had nothing but problems, from the service to the food.
My ONLY complaint was the toilet in the Men's Rest Room would not flush. [09 Apr 2007 20:28:35]
