A special north Florida secret hideaway restaurant...located on Highway 65 in Hosford, Florida, a tiny hamlet just 20 miles west of Tallahassee on Hwy. 20. This outstanding local seafood restaurant is well-known for its fresh seafood from Apalachicola...the chef cooks each order individually...the fried oysters are lightly and crisply battered...the shrimp are golden and light and melt in your mouth...the cole slaw is freshly grated from locally grown cabbage...and the atmosphere is laid back old Florida Cracker style! Whitney's has now been sold to another family in Fall 2005.
