The only Japanese owned and operated steak and seafood house at the beach. Named a "Top 25" restaurant by Jacksonville Magazine and voted "Best Japanese Restaurant" by Folio Weekly in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998. Teppanyaki, traditional cuisine, sushi bar and cocktail lounge.

My first experience with sushi was made quite enjoyable at this well established dining landmark at the beach. The food is prepared fresh in an open style kitchen, traditional chef prepares steak dishes at your table with a flare for entertaining his guests.    [03 Dec 1999 16:19:36]

Excellent Sushi, although a bit Americanized. Restaurant needs a good cleaning and a makeover. While a good dining experience if you arrive early, the restaurant quickly fills to capacity and there is not enough non-smoking seating. Noisy and active at times, especially at the grill tables.
