Rusty Pelican Review This restaurant is pricey but its atmosphere and service make up for it. The food is incredible, always fresh and flavorful. Food preparation is superb. With a view of Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami from your table, you couldn't ask for much more. [12 Jan 2003 12:18:09]

VERY DISAPPOINTED NEW YEARS EVE Ive been to this restaurant a few times and it's always been for special occasions, this New Years was no different, It was $70.00 per person, which included open bar and dinner. Now I honestly wasn't expecting steak and lobster, but I didn't expect hot dogs and hamburgers. But it doesn't end there. I'd estimate that there was over 1000 people. Now I didn't go to sit down, but after 3 hours of dancing you need to sit down, well I'd guess there might have been around two hundred chairs. Also the lines where horrible for both drinks and food. There were only 3 food stations and 4 small drink serving stations, I waited for my food in line almost 40 minutes, and every time you need you needed a drink it was at least 20 minutes. I have to say I wish I was exaggerating, but it was a real dissappointment. It was just coordinated horribly, and because of that it was way over priced. [02 Jan 2004 17:43:05]

Fabulous We dined at the Rusty Pelican over the weekend with a group of 25 and it was fabulous. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The servers were more than accommodating and the view of the city was superb! I enjoyed Crabmeat Mushrooms, Hot Cheese Toast, Garden Salad with Petite Shrimp and Honey Mustard Dressing, Crabmeat Stuffed Lobster Tail and Chocolate Mousse. If you get the opportunity I would strongly suggest dining at the Rusty Pelican! [14 Jun 2004 19:42:23]
