I recommend this place for the money.
We were driving down the keys and wanted to have lunch on the way to Key West. I read about this place on the web while I was searching for sushi place. It was sort of hard to find. If you are planning on going, on you right (as you are driving down to key west on US1), you will see burger king, then this sushi nami (a part of the hotel resort- the color is pink) and you will see Honda dealer after this restaurant. It is an old building, so, we were a bit shocked. but the food was great for the money. We ordered lunch box ($8.99). It came with sashimi (Yellow tail was perfect!), sushi (maguro, salmon, and yellow tail), california roll and teriyaki chicken. We wanted to go back there and eat on the way back from key west to Miami, but it was closed for lunch. (Sunday) I recommend this place for sure.    [25 Jun 2003 16:14:36]

I love the people!

My boyfriend and I are locals in Key Largo, living just two miles north of Sushi Nami and we adore the place.

The food has never been anything less than excellent, and the chefs and waitresses have always been very friendly and helpful. If you're in town, get there either a little earlier or a little later (We usually like to get there around 9PM or so, and they close at 11PM) otherwise you'll hit the crowd.

Be sure to at least try sitting at the oriental table with cushions -once-. They're a lot of fun. :)    [02 Jul 2005 19:39:41]
