Customer Complaint
On April 12, 2001 our tour group visited Key West. We visited this restaurant on a recommendation. As we walked in about 4:00 we were handed a menu. A friend and I chose the Coconut Grouper. The price was quite reasonable and determined our willingness to choose that meal. When we were billed it was at twice the price of the menu. When we complained to the waitress and the hostess, we were told that was the wrong menu we ordered from and were treated as though we should have known even though nothing on our menu indicated it as an earlier version of our selection. Fortunately we had the money to cover the inflated prices. Other members of our tour group met with similar bait and switch tactics at other restaurants. If our waitress had not known we were from out of town would we have been treated this way?    [02 May 2001 09:48:27]

Great Place to dine and relax!!
We ate at the A & B Reataurant on Monday, October 7th, 2002. We had dined with a couple of locals that live in Key West. Our meal was terrific! We had a delightful waitress named Shelley!! She was completely helpful and polite!!

I am now at home in Atlanta, Ga and I am dieing for the pan seared tuna with wasabi vinagarette!! All four of us loved the restaurant. Great food, ambience and lighting was an added bonus. I want to call and see if they will allow me in their kitchen.

We stayed across the street at the Hyatt and dined at Nicola's. Nicola's was good too. However, no comparison with A&B Lobster House. I look forward to our next visit. Please ask for Shelly, she is wonderful!!

A view and a meal to match - Great
Try not to be put off by the terrible smell of cigar smoke as you come in. Sit outside and you will be treated to a great meal and a great view. The non-wait staff may be a bit difficult, but the wait staff was friendly and there when we needed him.    [28 Feb 2003 19:52:03]
