I fell in love...and the food was good, too!

I came down to Key West for vacation with a couple of friends, and very little spending money. We needed something quick and cheap to eat, so we decided on Pizza. We walked through the small alcove past the sign which guided us toward the pizza, and found ourselves on a lovely outdoor patio, right in front of the maitre'd. Figuring it was too expensive, we began to decline but were persuaded otherwise by the maitre'd who introduced himself as Jean Paul.

Sitting down, we realized the menu was much more extensive than pizza, and decided on gyros and gourmet sandwiches which were excellent.
And the service? Delightful!
In fact, we went back for pizza the next day; then went back later that night for salad and wine at the patio bar; then went back for a farewell feast before leaving the island.

This was almost a year ago and I still get nostalgic thinking about the fare, the company and the ambiance. You'll see me there again this year!~    [08 Feb 2004 20:09:54]
