Very upset I took my grandchildren out to eat, just as we were ready to leave the house the phone rang and I forgot to grab some money before we left. We ate at our local Bob Evans and I wrote a check. I forgot that they don't take checks but it was all that I had with me. The hostess informed me that I had to bring the cash back that night and then a bus boy followed me out to my car to take my license plate number. I own a bed & breakfast in the same town and it was no problem to run home and get the cash ( I only live 6 blocks away)but they didn't need to embarass me like that in front of other customers. I will not go back nor will I recommend our local Bob Evans to our guest. [01 Jun 2003 21:24:33]

Came all the way from Colorado to go to Bob's I flew in from Denver to come to Bob Evans. I love the sausage and biscuits and had a large stack of cakes. I also had a side order of those delicious sausage links and the finest cup of joe this side of the Mississippi! Believe me I will be back. Please open up a Bob Evans in Denver. That is some good eatin'! [19 Sep 2003 21:31:05]

I also had a bad experience at Bob Evans in Lakeland,Fl. Our meal, which was breakfast at 7pm, took exactly 30 mins. to get to our table. We noted the time on the ticket. Our food was cold and not acceptable.
When we went to pay out bill, we had to wait for someone to find the cashier. Five minutes later she came, she was grumbling that she had just taken a break and was called back to work.
There were 3 people in our party and we all decided that we would not go back to Bob Evans in Lakeland. We are residents of Lakeland and are very disappointed in our local restaurant. [31 Mar 2006 12:31:11]
