Lower East Side in Lauderhill
Although their advertisements are hokey, their sandwiches are incredible! Tables are stocked full of bowls with home made half sour pickles, and tomatoes. The restaurant is filled with Salami's hanging from the ceiling.
The rachel and ruben sandwiches are large enough for two, but better yet, wrap up half and enjoy them later.

The Ambiance is nothing special, more of a diner than a restaurant, but the tables are clean.    [02 Jan 2001 12:42:40]

The owner, Larry, is a genius!
This is the BEST DELI on the east coast!

WE DROVE ALL THE WAY FROM CHARLESTON SC FOR A HOT PASTRAMI SANDWICH
I wish these guys would open up in Charleston. The pastrami on fresh rye was delicious. Leaner than most places and great flavor. The half sours in the stainless buckets were crispy and delicious. We took some kippered salmon and lox with us for the next morning.

This place brought back memories from my childhood, including the kibitzing deli guy, Andrew. Jan, the waitress, was friendly and efficient. We are driving back in May with a big cooler.    [29 Mar 2004 20:45:01]

Best Pastrami I've ever had
