Best Mexican Food in South Florida
Being from Chicago, where there is a multitude of great restaurants it's hard to find something that compares in Florida. But Cielito Lindo Dos is by far the best Mexican restaurant in South Florida. Everything is done to perfection and they have the best fajitas. And Wednesday night is Margarita Night. I have friends that come over from Tampa to go to this restaurant. NOT FOR CHILDREN's EYES......
Customers for 10+ years....took 5 year old on 6/14. FEAR FACTOR (eating roaches) and then MAXIM'S HOTTEST 100(partially nude) on TV with CAPTIONS!! CHILD can read!!!! Told Mgment that TV programs not appropriate for children...our's wasn't only child there....was told YOUR ATTITUDE is not appropriate. Left restaurant with 5 year old. Called the restaurant when i got home. Spoke with "Marsello"(?)...same one at the restaurant -- still same ATTITUDE and total lack of responsibility...told i could go to another restaurant of my choice...have a good evening...click,buzz......STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN!!!! Mixed review
I was introduced to this restaurant by my father. Lunch during the week is great, but if you go around the end of early bird, it is different. On a past visit, my family (of 7), went for the early bird. We were seated before the cutoff time, but nobody "served" us until after the cutoff time. We were then told that we couldn't get the early bird items and prices.

Love the fajitas
Love Celito Lindo Dos in Lighthouse Point. Have been going there for years. Service is usually good. Wednesday night is great because of the $1 margarits! Food is great. Have rarely been dissapointed.    [05 Dec 2003 19:23:38]
