A Great Indian Restaurant, finally.
I have been to a number of Indian Restaurants in the Metro Orlando area but have always been disappointed with their quality, quantity and service. I had decided to never set foot in another Indian restaurant and along comes Gateway to India to entice me. A friend suggested I visit them and when we had company from out of town; we decided to give it a try.
Boy, was I in for a surprise. Not only that the food was good, not overly spicy which I liked (and me being Indian), the service was excellent and the 2 owners made us feel truly welcomed. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the service.

Excellent Food
We have been going to Gateway To India Longwood location restaurant and just loved the food, the staff is very professional and friendly, great service. Chef Kapoor has been in partner before he independently owned it now he is the chef and his cooking is outstanding, the best we have had in the Florida!
I read these review but just curious that I had to share, see the Best of Seminole Award 2007, they are the winner and I wish they win the Foodie Award in Orlando, beacuse they are an exception to all those I-Drive tourist Indian restaurant with no quality.
