Denny's Diner
My husband and I went to breakfast on 8-24-03, for my husband's birthday. It was 9:05 when we arrived, there were two people waiting at the register to pay their check, but no one was there to take care of them. My husband and I waited for a few minutes to be seated, but no one came, and we didn't see a sign please wait to be seated. So we went to a booth and sat down. I noticed most of the wait staff were standing around talking and reading. We waited for 10 minutes to be waited on. Finally we got the attention of one of the waitresses going by on her way to the register. her words were "Where did you come from", and found it amusing that we had to seat ourselves instead of waiting to be seated. We told her we waited, but no one came to seat us, she had no comment or apology. While out order was being prepared, I could hear one of the cooks and a member of the waitstaff arguing over an order of pancakes. We were seated in the front of the diner near the entrance, and we could hear them clearly. While waiting for our order we were looking around the room and noticed that the chairs at the tables were very dirty, and in need of cleaning. It was obvious that the chairs had not been cleaned since they were new. This is a fairly new building, and the ceiling tile are black on the edges with mold from the air conditioner. Very hazardous to ones health!! Our order was brought to us, everything looked fine. We ordered your new country fried steak, eggs and biscuits, no butter was served for the biscuits and they were cold. This is the most unprofessionally operates restaurant that I think I have ever visited. This was my last visit to this place of 'business', and I use that term loosely.    [17 Sep 2003 09:21:25]

Burned
Today my husband ordered takeout from Denny's diner in Madison F.L. I ordered moons over my hammy(sandwich). when he got home, I opened my plate and The bread was dark i even tasted it to see if it tasted burned. It did. That is the second time they have send us home with some thing burned. I hope they get rid of the blind cooks they must have working for them.    [19 Jan 2008 23:46:11]
