Great Local Place Fl Keys
In the superficial heat of tourists, it great to have a local spot where the owners truly care about the character of their place, and the locals that frequent it. This is one of my most "comfortable" places in Marathon, with real people in a relaxed setting. Get a bite to eat, or just sit and drink and play pool. Great Entertainment
Stopped in on our way to Key West on a Saturday night. One of the best Guitar Players I have ever seen and heard was playing that night - some Canadian guy. We ended up staying till closing time.Cool Place    [12 May 2007 18:56:20]

Cool Vibes
I'm not going to present this place as something it isn't ... it's certainly not pretty inside. You might call it a dive but did we have fun there!!! Food was ok Beer was cold Service was good Staff were friendly...And the entertainment. This Canadian Guy played Hotel California note for note close your eyes and you'd think it was the record. The band, what seemed to be a make shift throw together jam band as they all just show up through out the night, Rocked the house down...There was a big guy they called Tim D who can sing like an angel Even the Bar Tender sang a song... Apparently this happens every Saturday night.

Two of us ate and drank for under $25 We staggered back to the boat with smiles on our faces. Perhaps the highlight of our trip Certainly a night to remember    [04 Jun 2007 16:37:51]

BEST OF MARATHON
