partially accessible
While there are some tables accessible for wheelchairs, most are not, and management does NOT save the few accessible tables for wheelchairs, but always seats patrons at those tables first, making it extremely difficult for anyone in a wheelchair to be seated without forcing other patrons to stand, move chairs, and in some instances, move tables.

Fantastic! A great seafood restaurant; the headliner is rock shrimp, which tastes almost like lobster.
Lunch and dinner menus include other great seafood as well as specials and beef/chicken dishes.
Highly recommend, but busy on weekends, so go early. [10 Apr 2005 17:42:57]

IT'S CLOSED! After planning to take guests to the Mt Dora Dixie Crossroads this weekend, I found out from a friend that it's no longer there. I called the Titusville restaurant to confirm and they indicated that they are NOT affiliated with the restaurant that is there now. (Similar name) The above review is dated 4/10/05 so the change happened in the last year I guess. [23 Mar 2006 15:58:27]

Bad Management I heard that DIXIE CROSSROADS in Mt. Dora was having a promotion where if two people order two dinners and two beverages that they would be given a gift certificate for the amount of the two dinners to use on their next visit. I called the resturant for details and the hostess told me the exact thing. When we arrived at the resturant we again asked the same hostess that answered the phone. She verified the information, so did the waitress that took our order. When our $40.77 bill came she asked us for our coupon. After being told the details about this offer three times, this was the first time we heard about a coupon. The manager told us that she couldn't stand behind anything that her employees might have told us in error. The hostess said that she assumed that we already had a coupon. If I had one I wouldn't have to call to get the details now would I? The night manager (Tim) said that he would give it to us but said that he would have to speak to the owner . He also said that he could not be responsible for what the employees told us. Needless to say, we haven't been back. [21 May 2006 17:42:30]

NOT CLOSED Have eaten there many times. I am from St Augustine and have to pass through there on business. We stop there every time. We enjoy it a lot. They are not closed by the way. Just went there two weeks ago.
Their broiled rock shrimp with butter is awesome. I called them 5 minutes before I wrote this - they assured me they are not closed. [10 May 2007 17:45:17]

HORRIBLE Soups on their soup bar were so bad, beans were straight out of the can. Will never go there again! Entree (Prime rib) was cold. Hostess Says "can't please everyone". [06 Jul 2007 22:54:19]

Dixie Crossroads now Dixie Shimp House Dixie Crossroads is no longer affiliated with the Dixie Crossroads in Titusville, and it is true that the result has been a gradual decline in service and quality. However, some things are improving very slowly, and locals are sticking with the tried and true, such as the rock shrimp and the fish dishes. [26 Aug 2007 15:26:17]
