EAT AT ANOTHER RESTUARANT!
The show the chef gave was good.
However, the other service from "host" that did the seating, the server that brought the drinks to the clean up person was poor! The food was adequate but not worth the trouble.
Guys! if you don't like working in a restaurant get an education and get another job. People are eating there because they want to not because they HAVE to. If you hate your customers they will hate you and stop visiting your restaurant    [29 Jan 2005 20:37:50]

Enjoy food and a show
Lampu is a nice place, and very impressive for those unfamiliar with Japanese steak houses. The hibachi style of cooking is fun to watch, and the food is very good.    [10 Apr 2005 17:47:29]

No one makes that white sauce

I love this place!!

Lampu Frequenter
I have been going to Lampu Japanese Steakhouse for well over 5 years now, and I just don't get tired of the food! The taste is amazing, and yes, the white sauce is almost as addicting as a narcotic. Every person I bring there loves it, and it beats any other hibachi grill or asian dining I've ever had. The only downside is they don't keep my water glass topped off... but they've been getting better since I know two chefs personally :D    [11 Dec 2006 19:04:03]

i guess you could say the place is addicting!

The food is AMAZING..everytime i go i always debate over if i should get sushi or a hibachi dinner because its all so good! Ive been to other japanese steakhouses but none of them even begin to compare to Lampu!    [25 Feb 2007 23:47:10]
