One of New Smyrna's Best!
This place is a blast! PJ's is definitely my favorite restaurant in the area. The food, service and especially the atmosphere are fantastic. Try some of their tropical drinks.    [05 Aug 2003 15:50:51]

Alot has changed since they opened
After a few visits early my wife and I thought it wasnt good. After a few changes in the menu and management this place is awesome.

We have been coming to NSB for several years. Each year we try PJ's and each year we have been disappointed in it.

Friday night we came in at 5:30pm with a party of 12. Earlier in the day, We were told they didn't do reservations but at that time of day we shouldn't have any trouble getting a table. Wrong. We had to split up into three seperate groups. OK that was not what we wanted to do but it had to be. Our table was a table of 5.

Our waitress came to our table after a short wait and took our drink order. Our friends hadn't had any service at that time but eventually got waited on and were served their drinks and their order taken while we were still waiting for our drinks. I finally went to the manager and told him our problem and soon he brought our drinks.

A little later a new waitress came to take our order. By this time our friends were eating and well on their way to finishing before our order came. My husband and brother-in-law ordered Fish and Chips and received a combination plate. The waitress took it back and then returned with the same plates and said they wouldn't charge them for the combination plate price only the Fish and Chips price.

I have to admit I like the new menu and the price of the early bird meals was good but the service was really bad. I promised myself I would write a letter to the management of this restaurant so that they can do something to correct this problem.    [17 Feb 2007 20:12:28]

Don't listen to the
I've been coming to New Smyrna for 10 years and have been to many of the local sposts. Ate at PJ's for the first time in 2006 and truly loved the blackened Grouper.

Came back in July 2007 and had an alternate entree - the wild alfredo. Great dish made with jalepeno peppers, sausage and chicken. The taste combination is incredible. The fresh baked Garlic bread is must try.

The ambiance is great out on the patio, even on a hot July evening, The place is decorated uniquely and the service is great.

After reading some of the bad comments, I could not envision PJ's to be the place that was described.

PJ's is a fun restaurant with great food and service. I look forward to going back.    [10 Jul 2007 17:23:10]
