Utter Trash
This is possibly some of the worst food I have ever had the displeasure to eat. Everything is well overcooked and served cold. The night I brought my family they had peal and eat shrimp and ribs. They had a medium size bowl for the shrimp and the line was ridicules. The rib tasted like they had been boiled and covered in ketchup. Unfortunately Ocala if full of cheep old people who thing all you can eat is a good deal regardless of quality. If I must go to another all you can eat place I would stick with Golden Coral or some of the better quality Chinese. But general speaking most of the all you can eat places are low quality, and Barn hills tops the list.    [26 Feb 2004 11:52:02]

Good Value / Reasonable Price

when you just can't decide on anything else
The food is not much better then that of a cafeteria but it all for just one price. It is not great but not bad either. Just a place to go when everyone wants something different and no one feels like looking at a menu and having to make decisions. The servers are semi attentive. They bring your drink and them seem to disappear. But since it's a buffet what serving is there to do. It's basically self service. This is a great place for those who are on a very tight budget and want a no frills meal.    [10 May 2007 18:22:59]
