Hi ... Welcome to Hooters!
Visited Thursday at noon, 03 Mar 2006.
No matter how many dozens of (sickening) times you may hear "HI; WELCOME TO HOOTERS" called out as the employees see a door open, it's still the same ol' Hooters.
Is (co-founder) Ed Droste rich?

I'd heard that some Hooters' had better wings than others, so I tested this while on a business trip to Ocala.
Nope, same old greasy wings!And, just where do they get such large cornish hens? The strong corn-like breading still overwhelms the delicate flavor of any wing; and the sauces are the pits. From my knowledge of "good" wings, their cooking temperature is too cold (possibly due to volume of use) to give a crisp texture. They still rate as the worst wings ever tasted in my book.
Cleanliness is pretty good; the service is attentive and fairly quick. This noisy place still has a good local following, most likely due to the Stepford-like automata which deliver the goods.

Better than all the Rest
I've been in quite a few Hooters over the years. But I can't remember a more a more enjoyable time than the time I spent at the Ocala resteraunt. The service was exceptional. The resteraunt was clean, and the food was the best that I've had at any of the Hooters resteraunts, Ive been in over the years. my career takes me all over the country. I've been in Hooters in Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Denver,and Omaha. The Ocala Hooters is the best of all of them. [16 Apr 2006 18:52:07]

Days and times matter when you visit this joint. Some of the girls are exceptional, some should work elsewhere. Noon and 5pm best time of day. The beer is cold, the wings hot and wet, dry, nude your choice. [18 Aug 2007 13:23:27]
