I loved it at Wolfy's Ocala

Worst Service In Town

This was the worst place to eat until recently. I visited this restaurant a year ago and had the worst meal and service of a lifetime. I decided to give it another try because the atmosphere was nice. The service hasn't changed but, the food was incredible. The fresh baked chicken was tender and moist. The baked grouper on Friday night is indescribable...soaked in garlic butter and seasoned to perfection. I havn't had a steak that was more reasonably priced with a flavor and tenderness that matches Outback at half the price! I give Wolfy's a **** star for their improvement. (P.S. if you're children lover the old fashioned Mickey Mouse pancakes the new manager is happy to serve. WoW!!! What a change.....keep up the good work Wolfy's!    [18 Apr 2004 21:15:56]

new chef cant cook
I recently ate at the Ocala location and we were not happy. My chicken came out cold, which I had to wait 10 minutes to send back because the server never came back to check on us. Then the new chicken I recieved was raw and bloody. The server told us they have a new chef "who has no idea what he is doing". She said he put garlic in the rub, burned all the chicken, and now it's raw! I was told to pay for my baked potato and coffee and cole slaw because I did eat that, and that was what the restaurant did to make me feel better about the cold/raw chicken that was served to me. The Leesburg location may look awful after all their hurricane damage, but at least the chicken is cooked and the service is great. I will never go to the Ocala location again and I warn others not to also.    [13 Dec 2004 08:52:37]

Good Food-Great Value
Wolfys is one of our regular places to eat. Not fancy, but good food and great values. Check out the "2 dinners for" special which includes your choice of several entrees, bread and drink. Hard to beat.    [29 Aug 2006 14:43:51]
