Authentic Thai right near UCF
Bangkok Square serves very authentic Thai food along with sushi. The chef/owner is from Thailand and it shows in the quality of the food. The restaurant itself is small (only 6 tables plus the small sushi bar) and non-descript, located in a small strip center a block from University Blvd at UCF. What they don't have in atmosphere, they make up for in delicious food. Everything I have tried has been good. All of their curries are rich and flavorful. The soups are excellently balanced in the traditional Thai style - a blend of sweet, spicy, salty and sour. The noodle dishes are also excellent.
Bangko Square is one of the more authentic Thai restaurants in the Orlando area. I lived in Thailand for years and am fairly picky about Thai food, as much of it in America doesn't taste the same as in Thailand. If you aren't looking for fancy but just want good food at a reasonable price, this is just the ticket! [27 May 2006 20:52:47]

Food's great. Everything from the sushi to the Thai food tastes great. Sushi's a little expensive for the size of their rolls. Appetizers a little pricey. Management isn't the best. [02 Apr 2008 00:14:48]

AWESOME FOOD
