Great steak and great staff
Have eaten many a fine steak at this steakhouse, but don't think about leaving until you try some of their wonderful desserts (oh get one and share).    [05 Sep 2001 16:55:51]

Great place - but watch out for the favorite!

Visited Charley's Steak House as it was recommended to us by our hotel. Good recommendation. Excellent food, friendly and lively atmosphere and pretty good service, although it can get very busy, especially when there's a big conference in town (like the PGA Merchandize Show).

Great choice of steaks (obviously), but nice selection of starters too, while the desserts looked fantastic. Unfortunately, by the time we had managed to manfully chomp our way through the starter and entree we simply didn't have room for dessert!

Only thing I would say is watch out for the specials. I chose one called the 'favorite'. Great piece of steak, but they didn't say how much it was when they read us the specials. It was 50 bucks! I expect the restaurant calls it their favorite because it costs so much! Anyway, apart from that, a great place to eat. Thoroughly recommended.    [17 Mar 2006 13:52:57]
