This is an awesome location for the family, the plaza has a lot including a wonderful toy store right down from jonny rockets. The food is great, very much so a step back in time they provides nickel upon nickel for the kids to play tableside jukebox full of oldies from an era gone by. The fountain drinks and shakes were superb, the burgers fresh and juicy, and the fries and o rings were perfect. Everthing was fresh not greasy nor heavy. The menu offered many choices for a soda shop and the the staff was great. The atmoshpere was just like an ol' diner from pinks and aqua to the quilted stainless steel...let's not forget the papar hats and the belt coin changer to hand out all those free quarters. While the prices were moderate, very fair for such excellent quality, our bill for a family of 6 was a fully decked out table for $42 buck. However .... when we requested 840 nickels to pay our check suddenly no more nickels were available.    [16 Feb 2004 01:29:58]

Recommended Dishes: I recommend the chocolate malt @3.59; I odered the rocket double cheese with bacon, had a bite of the St.Louis and Route 66 it was all very good. They even let you get halvies when it comes to fries vs. o-rings.

This place is amazing with all its shakes and burgers; where does one begin.

Well let me help you start off with a St.Louis and don't forget the fries and a strawberry shake.
