breakfast buffet My family stayed in Orlando for the last couple of years during vacation time for only 2 weeks. During the 2 weeks thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet; so much to eat and choose from. Usually seating is for about 2 hours. Not just greasy breakfast, also cereals, porridge, cookies etc. This restaurant is also value for money, and of extremely high quality and service.
We were not impressed with the evening meal or lunch, not very appetizing. [06 Nov 2003 10:20:04]

Why would you bother? There are so many restaurants to choose from on International Drive, why would you bother to dine here? Only one reason I can think of - price. This is eating on the cheap and if you don't mind average quality cuisine, Ponderosa is for you. Steaks (but don't expect steak house quality - not even close), a buffet with a large selection including salads, hot items, and pizza, and a dessert bar round out the menu.
Service is generally friendly, though you may have to flag down your server. And as with all Ponderosas, you order (and pay) upon entering, then are seated. [31 Jul 2004 23:38:17]

fantastic There were 10 of us dining here in May 2004. We ate here every day.
Everything was top standard, including food, service, friendliness and cleanliness. The prices were fantastic and so was the overall experience of dining @ the ponderosa. [30 Apr 2005 07:05:22]

Great Value for money Four of us ate here for breakfast every day, and most evening meals. The breakfasts are great, sausage, eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. also salad, porridge and cereals (and ice cream). Evening meals are the buffet salad with your choice of entree, sometimes a bit limited as it is just steak and fish mostly but there are items on the buffet and great soups too. We ate at other buffet places but kept coming back to
Ponderosa for value and just enough choice - some of the other buffets give you too much to choose from and you can't physically manage to do it all justice! Have a full breakfast here and then you don't need to spend too much in the (expensive) theme parks to keep you going until the evening, especially as kids of 5 or under eat free of charge. Servers are pleasant if a little rushed but you are able to help yourself to as much as you want. Soft drinks are refilled when empty. We will certainly be back - look for coupon books for 10% off each entree - these cost around $8.99 - $12.99 (in 2005). [15 Oct 2005 08:45:17]
