Dine in or take-out; EXCELLENT
My wife and I have been eating Marios fine food for years.

Here is a place where the portions are enormous but the quality is enormous as well. We dined in years ago but now with a 4 yr old and 3 yr old we have become experts on take-out and unlike many finer restaurants, take-out from Marios is painless. Total Disaster
After reading some positive reviews, I decided to take my date to a nice dinner but it turned out to be a total disaster.

I ordered the so called "Seafood Risotto". If you ever had a Progresso soup with rice you know exactly how it looks and tastes. Swimming in it was some overcooked and therefore rubbery seafood. I have eaten risotto in Italy over a hundred times but this does not deserve the name.

For dessert, I had the so called "Almond Tiramisu". Another creation that has absolutely nothing to do with the original. Have you ever had one of these Wal-Mart birthday cakes? It looked and tasted just like it.

The waiter did not understand the difference between the seafood soup and risotto nor did he check on us more than once.

On top of the awful preparation, it is totally overpriced. All in all, a terrible experience that I will never repeat.    [13 May 2007 23:17:42]
